Railway workers and community volunteers joined forces to make Bletchley station more pleasant for passengers.
A 12-strong team from Network Rail and the Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership trimmed back overgrown vegetation, restocked planters with a variety of bulbs and removed three truckloads of rubbish on Friday (3/9).
Stephen Sleight, Marston Vale Community Rail partnership officer, said: “We really appreciate the help from Network Rail to breathe life into Bletchley station.
"We’re proud of the stations along the Marston Vale line and days like this help to make sure the communities we serve are proud of their local stations as well.”
Ridgmont and Lidlington stations will get the same treatment in the coming weeks.
