Tesco are recalling an own-brand food product after traces of salmonella were found inside.
Tesco Organic Almonds have been recalled in the 200g pack size, Lot Number L8004010 and Best Before February 2019.
No other Tesco products are known to be affected.
It comes due to the presence of salmonella inside the product. Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
If you have bought the product then you are advised not to eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Tesco is recalling the above product and has informed its customers. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.
Notices in store will explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell customers what to do if they have bought the product.
