Thames Valley Police officers sealed off Creswell Lane near The Hub in Milton Keynes earlier, following the death of a man in his forties.
Officers were called to Creswell Lane in Milton Keynes just before 1pm today, following reports of a fear for welfare incident.
South Central Ambulance Service also attended to provide medical support, but a man in his forties was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Next of kin for the man have been informed of the death by officers.
The road, which runs to the side of the Travelodge and the Jury's Inn in The Hub, was closed for a number of hours following the incident.
