Man left seriously injured following collision near Milton Keynes

    A man in his 60s has been left with seriously injuries following a road traffic collision in a village next to Milton Keynes.

    On Saturday 1st January, at around midday, Bedfordshire Police were called to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist on Cranfield Road, Salford.

    The vehicle failed to stop at the scene and left a man in his 60s with serious but not life changing injuries.

    PC Emily Ingle, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “The driver failed to stop at the scene, leaving the victim badly injured, alone and very shaken by this incident.

    “The victim described the vehicle involved to be a black Nissan Qashqai or X-Trail type vehicle.

    “If anyone has any information about this incident or was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, please let us know.”
