Willen Hospice partners with MyMiltonKeynes for fun family event

Local charity, Willen Hospice are delighted to have MyMiltonKeynes as their headline sponsor for their popular Mini-Moo, a fun event for young fundraisers.

This family-favourite takes place on Sunday 23rd April outside the Willen Hospice gardens, starting from 10.30am. Children aged 4 - 11 are invited to scoot, run or walk one sponsored lap of Willen’s North Lake, and every child who takes part receives a Mini Moo fundraising pack, medal and certificate.

There will also be extra surprises on the day, including a tombola, music and Willen Hospice’s very own mascot, Florence Moo will be making an appearance too!

Nikki Poole, Willen Hospice Community Fundraising Manager, said: “We are really excited to be holding our Mini-Moo event once again. It’s a great way for children to learn about what the Hospice does and the value of fundraising for charity.”

“We simply couldn’t hold this event without the support of MyMiltonKeynes. Thanks to their sponsorship, more money can go towards our services, caring for local families who need our support.”

Melanie Beck MBE, MyMiltonKeynes Chief Executive, said, “It’s our pleasure to sponsor this wonderful family event to raise money for Willen Hospice. It will be a fantastic day, and it’s for a worthwhile cause. I encourage any families who haven’t already, to get involved and sign up.”
