The Centre MK issue important update following Tier 3 news - including on Santa's Grotto

    The Centre MK have issued an update following the announcement that Milton Keynes is set to enter Tier 3 from Saturday morning.

    It comes as MKFM confirmed earlier that all essential and non-essential retail is allowed to remain open under the new Tier 3 restrictions.

    Following the Tier 3 news, The Centre MK said: "All retailers will remain open to shop, however our restaurants and cafes will be closed for dine in."

    "Many will be offering takeaway services, so make sure you are following our social media channels to keep up to date."

    "Our Santa's Grotto with Peter Rabbit and Friends will remain open following government guidance, with full measures in place."

    "If you are unable to attend your booking, please contact tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk 48 hours before your booking time."

    And intu Milton Keynes also released an update on their centre earlier today following the Tier 3 news.

    Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes, said: “In line with government guidance, intu Milton Keynes shopping centre will remain open as Milton Keynes is placed into Tier 3 from Saturday 19 December."

    "Retailers will be open, but restaurants and eateries will only be permitted to provide takeaway services, and those doing so will be published on our website."

    “We strongly ask all visitors to stay safe, wear a face covering at all time, wash their hands using the hand sanitisers provided and keep socially distanced. We are open late night and we would encourage people to plan their visit to avoid peak times where possible.”
