The Milton Keynes fundraising group for Guide Dogs is holding a local coffee and cake morning on Thursday 11th May.
Residents are invited to join the group from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Willen Pavilion, (MK15 9JP) to learn more about what the sight loss charity does and meet local volunteers and dogs.
Felicity Stratton, Community Fundraising Relationship Manager for Guide Dogs in Milton Keynes, said: “This is a great opportunity to meet some of our fantastic volunteers and dogs and learn more about the range of services we offer here at Guide Dogs.
“It costs around £55,000 to support a guide dog from birth to retirement and, as a charity, we rely almost entirely on public donations to keep our life-changing services running.
“So please come along, support a good cause and enjoy meeting our two-legged and four-legged team from Milton Keynes.”
