Popular Peter Rabbit-themed Christmas Grotto is making a return to Milton Keynes this year

It has been confirmed that the Peter Rabbit-themed Christmas Grotto will be making a comeback at the centre:mk later this year.

This will be the second year that the theatrical experience has been held in the city, following the success of last year's event in Middleton Hall.

Between Friday 12th November and Friday 24th December, families will be able to meet actors playing the part of Peter Rabbit and his woodland friends, before going on to decorate Christmas Elf biscuits with Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and meet Santa Claus himself.

Each family will spend 25 to 30 minutes in the experience.

Tickets went on sale yesterday (24/8) and a surge in visitors to the booking site caused it to crash.

A spokesperson for the centre:mk said: "We are aware many guests were unable to book due to this, so to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to experience our wonderful Santa’s Grotto with Peter Rabbit & Friends we have added additional tickets."

Orders are currently limited to six tickets per booking and you can find out more here.
