A popular Milton Keynes-based company has announced it will be opening a second branch in two weeks.
The owners of Great Gelato have announced that they are set to open a brand new store on 5th May.
Great Gelato and Jo’s Cake Co. opened MK's first gelateria and bakery on Stony Stratford High Street in 2022 and has proved popular ever since.
The store combined husband Ethan's gelato business, 'Great Gelato', with his wife Jo's 'Jo's Cake Co'.
Following a rapid increase in online customers, the couple wanted to grow their businesses even further and felt they had a niche idea to bring to Milton Keynes.
Now, the couple are expanding even more with a brand new store in Newton Leys.
"We know this is crazy but if you know us, you know that we are crazy," the owners wrote on Facebook.
"We’ve just got the keys and we are planning on opening on Friday 5th May… two weeks today!"
The second shop is set to be 2.5 times the size of the current store in Stony Stratford and will include triple the amount of seating.
There will also be a brand new dessert menu which includes pancake stacks, French toast, waffles and more, the business says.
