Milton Keynes theme park gears up for sizzling summer of fun

Gulliver’s Land guests are in for a treat with the Milton Keynes theme park resort planning a summer packed with new rides, exciting activities and special events.

To celebrate this summer of fun, Gulliver’s Land has an exclusive ticket deal offering families of up to five a family ticket for just £65. The offer, which offers families significant savings, is available for every peak summer holiday date and must be booked before midnight on Monday, July 3 (or before individual dates sell out).

A summer ticket deal is also be up for grabs at Gulliver’s Dinosaur & Farm Park, adjacent to Gulliver’s Land, costing £35 for a family of up to five which must be booked before midnight on Monday, July 3 (or before individual dates sell out).

A big pull at Gulliver’s Land this summer is a brand-new ride — Rockin’ Tug. Guests are invited to hop aboard the tugboat and cruise the Amazon River. Watch out though, because choppy waters will soon see the tug twisting and turning, and thrilling riders.

Special characters will be appearing throughout the summer, including Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. Elmer, star of the hugely popular children’s books, will be at Gulliver’s Land for one weekend only, on July 1 and 2.

Cheeky comic book duo Dennis the Menace and Gnasher will also be around and looking for mischief. The iconic pair from The Beano will be appearing every day until September 4.

And joining them will be popular children’s TV stars Bing and Flop, who will be hopping in for photo opportunities with young fans.

For fun-loving families looking to extend the fun, Gulliver’s Land boasts a unique range of accommodation for unforgettable short breaks. This includes everything from

princess and JCB suites to dinosaur and unicorn-themed lodges. There is also a 99-pitch campsite in an idyllic setting, a stone’s throw from Willen Lake.

For those seeking an active summer challenge, the Gulliver’s Land annual fun run will take place on Sunday, July 16. Tickets for the colourful race, which will raise money for Willen Hospice, cost just £15 per person including theme park entrance.

The packed summer of fun comes as Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts, which includes Gulliver’s Land, Gulliver’s World in Warrington, Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham and Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath, celebrates 45 years in business this year.

Sue Conway, resort manager at Gulliver’s Land, said: “Whether families are looking for a fun theme park day out or an exciting short break, we’ve got something for everyone this summer.

“We are always looking for ways to bring new and unique rides and experiences to Gulliver’s Land and know guests will love what we’ve got planned for our summer of fun.”
