Milton Keynes Hospital to give staff free food over Christmas and New Year

    The CEO of Milton Keynes University Hospital has taken to social media to say that staff at MK Hospital will receive free food over the festive period.

    MK University Hospital has been receiving lots of positive praise on social media after announcing that staff will be offered free food over the holidays.

    The CEO of Milton Keynes University Hospital, Joe Harrison, took to Twitter saying: "Free meals for staff @MKHospital are available over Christmas and New Year outside staff restaurant opening times.

    "This includes Christmas Day. Meals will be delivered to wards and departments and available in the Staff Hub (our well-being & rest area - open to all staff)"

    Many people have taken to Twitter to praise the CEO with one user saying "Fantastic…let’s hope more trusts do this"

    One user even tweeted their local hospital, telling them to take a look at what MK Hospital is offering.

    Staff were also recently treated to gift boxes as a Christmas present from the hospital recently.

    NHS staff will also still be boosting at vaccination centres even on Christmas Day. There are around 200,000 slots available across Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
