A kind Milton Keynes nanna has been knitting worry worms to help local people with their mental health.
Little 'worry worms' have recently been spotted around Stony Stratford and the wider area and MKFM can now reveal that they are the work of a local nanna.
Patricia Beattie has been spending 'hours and hours' making the worry worms for her son to distribute around Milton Keynes, with the aim of helping anyone that might be feeling down or lonely.
The worry worms can be found alongside a special poem which reads:
"I'm a little worry worm
I'm not lost, I'm just alone
If you need a friend
Please take me home.
"I'm a little worry worm
Made just for you
I carry happy thoughts with me
In case you are feeling blue."
Patricia's family say the kind nanna is the 'kindest and most creative soul' and if she's not making worry worms, she's making extravagant birthday cakes for friends and family.
