Halloween edges one step closer as popular pumpkin farm near Milton Keynes teases its reopening

The leaves are beginning to fall, days are getting shorter, and pumpkins are popping up at The Patch MK.

It only feels like yesterday when The Patch, located near Deanshanger, was preparing to reopen the picturesque sunflower farm for its summer season.

And now, the family behind the local tourist attraction have said that the pumpkins are starting to make an appearance in time for October's pumpkin farm.

"The pumpkins are back," says The Patch on its website. "Dust off your wellies and get ready for our third year of pumpkins, more photo opportunities, activities and fun at The Patch."

Over 80,000 seeds have been planted and there are 35 different types of pumpkin to pick.

Aside from pumpkin picking, there will be a barrel train, hay bale maze, viewing platform and house made of pumpkins.

The opening dates will be 2nd-3rd October, 9th-10th October, 16th-17th October, and 20th-31st October each day between 9:30am and 4:30pm.

Tickets go on sale at 7pm tomorrow (3/9) and you can find out more here.
