Floating market to take place on canal near Milton Keynes

An autumn floating market is set to take place on the Grand Union Canal near Milton Keynes.

The Roving Canal Traders Association has announce it will be holding an autumn floating market later this month.

The market will take place on the Grand Union Canal Towpath 1,000 feet below Cosgrove Lock (MK19 7JR).

Visitors will be able to shop from the trading boats between 10am and 5pm on 21st and 22nd October 2023.

There is set to be a range of crafts and items on show from the trading boats.

The Roving Canal Traders Association (RCTA) is a non-profit organisation run to help support and promote the diverse array of existing and potential Canal and River Trust (CRT) registered Roving Traders.

In 2013, the organisation held its first ever floating market in Birmingham.
