Fifty coronavirus patients have now died at Milton Keynes Hospital

    As of yesterday (12/4), fifty patients with COVID-19 have died at Milton Keynes Hospital since the pandemic began.

    And, since the beginning of April, 28 people have died. However, on two days this month there were no recorded deaths.

    The current number of confirmed cases of coronavirus at Milton Keynes Hospital is 286, which is an increase of 13 compared to yesterday.

    These figures are not representative of the number of cases in Milton Keynes as many people will be self-isolating at home. The death rates also do not include those which took place in care homes.

    It is not known exactly how many people have recovered from COVID-19 in Milton Keynes. However, residents have been sharing their stories about how they have beat the virus. Ben Everitt, MP for Milton Keynes North, believes he had the virus and has now fully recovered. Read more here.
