Emergency services on scene of incident at Milton Keynes retail park

    Emergency services were called to an incident in Milton Keynes at around 11:44am.

    UPDATE -  Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue say a man was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service suffering from the effects of burns.

    The van was 100 per cent damaged by the fire.

    The building was around 15 per cent damaged by heat.

     

    Thames Valley Fire Control Service has received multiple calls to an incident in Beacon Retail Park in Bletchley.

    Appliances and crews who attended the scene from Broughton, Newport Pagnell, West Ashland, Woburn and Buckingham, along with two officers.

    One van was fully involved in the fire on arrival.

    • One set of breathing apparatus
    • One hose reel jet
    • One main jet

    A building near by was evacuated.
