Captain Tom Moore's daughter 'paid thousands' through family company for 'charity appearances'

The BBC has revealed that the daughter of Captain Sir Tom Moore was paid thousands via her family company for appearances in connection with the charity.

Hannah Ingram-Moore helped to judge awards ceremonies featuring the Captain Tom Foundation, a charity set up in her dad's legacy, in 2021 and 2022.

The BBC has reported that despite promotional clips suggesting she was there to represent the charity, her fee was paid to her family company.

She has not yet responded to the BBC's claims.

At the time of the ceremony, the Virgin Media O2 Captain Tom Foundation Connector Awards, Ms Ingram-Moore was on an annual salary of £85,000 as the charity's interim chief executive.

Currently, investigations are underway by the Charity Commission, investigating potential conflicts of interest between the charity and the Ingram-Moores' businesses.

In response to an email from the BBC, Hannah said: "You are awful. It's a total lie." Then adding; "Apologies. That reply was for a scammer who has been creating havoc".

Ms Ingram-Moore has not responded to a series of questions from BBC Newsnight, the broadcasting company revealed.
