MKFM announces exciting new partnership with Hidden City Festival on Sunday 2nd July and brings you a non-stop day of Funk, Soul, Disco and UK Garage Nostalgia in the heart of Milton Keynes' city centre.
On the 1st & 2nd July Hidden City, the event series that promises to bring a variety of events to Milton Keynes city centre hosts a two day Music & Arts Festival with some incredible talent.
The concept behind Hidden City is brought to you by Event One, who have previously delivered some incredible events in Milton Keynes before.
Hidden City’s mission is to develop the arts and culture scene in Milton Keynes by activating un-usual, hidden and disused spaces, turning them into immersive event experiences.
Hidden City not only brings Internationally recognised talent to Milton Keynes but one of the key aims is to champion local and emerging talent.
On July 2nd, Hidden City will be hosting a family-friendly music and arts festival, featuring some of the biggest names in Funk, Soul, Disco, and UK Garage Nostalgia.
Headlining the main stage will be the iconic UK soul group The Real Thing, known for their chart-topping hits like "You to Me Are Everything" and "Can't Get By Without You."
Joining them will be the legendary Craig Charles, whose high-energy Funk & Soul Club show will have everyone dancing all day long. Also taking to the stage will be Shola Ama, who rose to fame in the late 90s with her hit single ‘You Might Need Somebody’.
DaisyBelle and Carly Foxx featuring Tasty Lopez, who are enjoying incredible success with their exciting Only Fans House party, while DJ Brandon Block plus Hobbs and Ron Mexico will complete the disco extravaganza line-up for music lovers of all ages.
The main stage will be hosted by Sophisticated Society by Ultravegas, who are a Milton Keynes dance staple of the 90s.
Sunday’s second stage will be hosted by Give Me Garage, who will be bringing together some of the best in UK garage royalty for an unforgettable experience.
Dj Pied Piper, Genius Cru, Nay Nay, Sweet Female Attitude, MC Kie, Mc Vapour and more will be performing on this stage, ensuring that there is something for everyone at this throwback event.
But that's not all - this festival has something for everyone! With street art and street food, as well as a lineup of talented performers, there's no better way to spend your summer weekend.
Plus, Hidden City's mission to activate unusual and disused spaces by hosting this first run of events in the hidden gem that is The Fred Roche Gardens.
