Bin collection backlog cleared with 'normal' Christmas revised timetable set to start again from tomorrow

Milton Keynes Council have announced that they have successfully cleared the full backlog of rubbish in our city, with the revised Christmas and New Year timetable set to be re-instated from tomorrow.

It means that residents will find their rubbish collected on their 'normal' revised day starting from tomorrow.

Milton Keynes Council and Serco have managed to fully clear the backlog after working today with 17 vehicles.

The Council are asking anyone who may have been accidentally missed to email envservices@milton-keynes.gov.uk with their address.

It follows an entire week of delayed collections in our city, with the Council Leader Peter Marland saying that the situation was 'unacceptable'.
