Billy Ocean is live at Bedford Park in August

    Billy Ocean has sold over 30 million records in his lifetime to date.

    He has collected a pile of Gold and Platinum records across the world and hit the number one spot worldwide in the pop charts including the USA, Australia, Germany, Holland, and the UK.

    Billy has achieved extraordinary success as both an artist and a songwriter. We are so excited to have this exceptional artist confirmed to play in Bedford Park this summer. Backed by his full band expect hit after hit from ‘Love Really Hurts Without You’, ‘Caribbean Queen’ ‘Suddenly’, ‘When the Going gets Tough (the tough gets going)’as well as the now classic Get Outta My Dreams; Get Into My Car plus many many more!

    Billy will be closing our bill on Friday night and you can expect a vibrant, feel good show that will have everyone up dancing and singing along. An iconic artist that crosses over all generations!

    Also on the bill is international soul singer Jaki Graham; a unique entertainer with a powerful and inspirational voice combined with her visual impact on stage, has made her one of the most appealing and enduring Soul entertainers to emerge from the UK. Expect to hear hits such as ‘Round and Round’ and the classic ‘Could it Be I’m Falling in Love’.

    Also on the line up helping us to party in style is ASWAD. After fifteen albums and two decades on the music scene, Aswad remains one of Britain's best-loved reggae bands. The duo of Drummie Zeb (vocals and drums), and Tony Gadd (bass, keyboards, vocals), are renowned among reggae fans for their adventurous fusion of musical styles such as dancehall, funk, hip-hop and dub. Hits such as ‘Don’t Turn Around’ and ‘Shine’ are sure to feature on their set list.

    Loose Ends ft Carl McIntosh will get us into a good times groove with their uniquely British soul sound. Featuring hits such as ‘Hangin’ On A String’ and ‘Slow Down’ and more.

    Completing the line-up is ‘The Christians’ who took the British pop charts by storm in the late 80’s /early 90’s with hits such as ‘World’, ‘Born Again’, ‘Hooverville’, ‘When The Fingers Point’ followed by their number one selling album ‘Colour’ which included ‘Words’. Their version of ‘Harvest For The World’, raised millions for Unicef.
