Yesterday, thousands of children across Milton Keynes found out which primary school they will be starting this September.
3,432 applications were received by Milton Keynes City Council by the January 15th deadline.
The City Council has reported that 99% of children were offered a place at one of their preferred schools (31 children did not get allocated a preferred choice).
94% of children secured a place at their first preference school.
Yesterday (17 April), was also offer day for more than 1,000 children due to transfer from infant to junior school.
All children have been offered a place at one of their preferred schools, with 99.7% allocated their first preference.
Parents who still need to make an application should complete a late application form which is available on the City Council’s website.
Where applications are received late, between 16 January 2021 and 25 April 2023, school place offers will be sent on 26 May 2023 by letter.
