Here’s your chance to be a part of and engage with the innovative tech community of Milton Keynes!

Biztech Tech Talk series has been bringing the best from the world of tech in MK since its launch last year. The first talk of 2023 will have two pioneers in their respective tech areas take the stage and talk about their innovative products that are changing how we navigate and monitor different environments. This is your last chance to register for the event on “Using Tech To Find The Best Way Forward – From Drones To Wayfinding,” which will be held on 27 April 2023 at 05:30 PM at the MK:U Innovation Hub.

    About The Event

If you are passionate about technology and how it is revolutionising operations and systems in real time, this Biztech Tech Talk will take you several steps closer to understanding and learning more about such technology. The days of simple CCTV monitoring and using static navigation systems are long gone. This is the era of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), AI, and 3D navigation systems. This Biztech Tech Talk will shed more light on how such technology is helping to develop next-generation drones and wayfinding software that are transforming travel. Attendees will be able to hear two successful tech founders, Edward Anastassacos of Herotech8 and Fredi Nonyelu of Briteyellow, speak about their journeys and how they developed their path-breaking products.

    About The Speakers

    1) Edward Anastassacos (CEO & Co-Founder, Herotech8)

The first speaker, Edward Anastassacos is an engineer, CEO and Co-Founder who has worked on guidance, navigation and control systems for spacecraft and unmanned vehicles. He has led several UK Government UAS programmes and also managed the UK Drone Pathfinder and the Open UAS Traffic Management initiatives.

    About Herotech8

Herotech8 is a drone-in-a-box technology company that delivers an innovative tech solution to support round-the-clock automated drone operations. Their innovative systems can be accessed from anywhere in the world, and give industries the freedom and convenience to automatically deploy, recover and recharge drones without requiring human interaction to fly. They allow mass adoption, and access to aerial inspection and monitoring, without requiring any pilots or personnel on site.

The Herotech8 drone systems provide immediate live feed data at the touch of a button and allow drone operations to be completed through cloud services and secure servers with the help of IoT technologies.

Herotech8 has offices in the UK, France and the US, and their drones are used across the globe by Border Control agencies, Airport Security, Construction, Police and Emergency Service teams, as well as by Milton Keynes Hospital in a ground-breaking trial over two days transporting medical supplies across the city.

    2) Fredi Nonyelu (CEO & Founder, Briteyellow)

The second speaker is Fredi Nonyelu, the CEO and founder of Briteyellow. Fredi and his team develop wayfinding applications and sensors that provide real-time location data to travellers and customers at transit places, including airports, railway stations and shopping centres. He helps businesses better understand how to engage with customers and deliver excellent customer service through unique wayfinding solutions.

    About Briteyellow

Fredi established Briteyellow in 2003 intending to provide interactive and wireless communications to people and businesses. Since 2018, the company has been developing new ultra-precision sensors for augmented and virtual reality (x-reality) applications that solve the challenges of end-to-end mobility and improve accessibility.

Their goal is to develop innovative hardware and software, provide advanced indoor location coordinates and services, and ultimately become a leader in the global indoor location services industry.
