Ibiza Classics come to Winterland MK on Sunday 29th December from 4pm with Brandon Block, Climpo, Leo Lyonel, CALV, Slimson and Alec Soren taking over the ice rink.
After leaving the army in 2015, John Climpson (Climpo) returned to civvy street where despite a new career in business and mentoring, found integrating back into everyday life had its challenges. Having witnessed war in Afghanistan, like many veterans, he found that the experience had taken a deep emotional toll. Determined to help not just himself but others suffering from stress and anxiety, John set up DJ2CombatStress which combined his love of dance and house music with his desire to help others in the same position. Playing to packed audiences up and down the UK, DJ2CombatStress offers a club night of talented DJs, whilst raising awareness and funds for Combat Stress, the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans and PTSD resolution, aimed at addressing PTSD.
This winter John is bringing DJ2CombatStress to Winterland Towcester Racecourse where on the 29th December he and Brandon Block will give a sizzling 5-hour session of Ibiza classics, to entertain, but also raise donations for these two charities. Brandon Block was an obvious choice, a mega talented DJ who’s clubbing excesses are well documented and who a decade ago, moved onto a more holistic path training as a Life Coach, Smart Recovery coach and Goal Mapping practitioner. Brandon has since set up Happy Days, a consortium of leading-edge thinkers and practitioners, with aim of helping people live a happier life, free from stress and negative thinking.
DJ2CombatStress Ibiza Classics at Winterland is a FREE event and tickets can be booked by going to www.winterlandmk.com. All donations are welcome and go directly to Combat Stress and PTSD resolution. All ticket holders will be immediately entered into a competition where they have the chance to win 2 x tickets to Brandon Block’s Happy Days event in London on the 14 March, a 2 hour DJ lesson with Soundflow Music Academy in Milton Keynes and a 1 hour mega mix by Climpo.
