Treat Mum to a delicious afternoon tea in Milton Keynes this Mothering Sunday at Bletchley Park

    Show Mum just how much she means to you this Mother’s Day (Sunday 19th March) at Bletchley Park, the former top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers.

    Treat her to delectable treats to remember at the museum and heritage attraction with finely cut sandwiches and freshly baked scones followed by a delightful selection of delicate, homemade, sweet delights.

    This extra special Afternoon Tea will be served in the iconic Victorian Mansion overlooking the lake and surrounded by the historic huts and blocks. Vocalist Alison Carter will provide the music with soothing sounds of a bygone era.

    Each booking will include the following:

    • Freshly baked scones with Somerset farm butter, Cornish clotted cream and Wilkin & sons Tiptree jam

    • A range of luxurious sandwiches including Lea valley cucumber, smoked salmon, Coronation chicken and ham and Mustard.

    • A selection of five different delicate cakes and tarts; delicious flavours combine including passion fruit and rum tarts, salted caramel pear and mascarpone toffee cheesecake, spiced carrot cake with pistachio frosting, a unique red velvet torte and a tangy heart-shaped raspberry shortbread.

    • Entry to Bletchley Park which includes an annual pass.

    • Live music from Alison Carter.

    • A little gift for Mum, from Bletchley Park to take home.

    There will be two afternoon tea sittings of 12:00 – 13:30 and 14:30 – 16:00.
