MK Eats supports Milton Keynes restaurants & takeaways at the MKFLA

MK’s very own local takeaway ordering service is proud to be sponsoring the 2021 Milton Keynes Food & Leisure Awards (MKFLA) and continues to support local restaurants & takeaways.

MK Eats is delighted to have 16 of the MKFLA finalists listed on the MK Eats app.

Local independent MK businesses including Five Akhi’s, Oleevo Pizza and Pin Petch Thai Restaurant have seen an increase in orders from new customers through MK Eats. The simplicity of the app has seen new people joining, ordering and reordering week-on-week. MK Eats is owned and managed by two local people, Andy Roberts and James Cann.

Andy Roberts said “MK Eats promotes and markets the local businesses, whereas the national food ordering apps only promote the other national restaurant and takeaway chains. We’re so pleased to see the businesses we support become finalists in the MKFLA.”

There are now 55 restaurants & takeaways partnering with MK Eats, with more joining every month. The MK Eats app enables you to order from your favourite independent food and drink vendors from all over MK, safe in the knowledge that it supports local businesses.

James Cann adds “The MKFLA finalists on our app always offer something special. You’ve got to try the Juicy Lucy from Five Akhi’s which has cheese inside the beef patty! Or try Oleevo Pizza’s handmade sourdough bases which prove for 24 hours giving them a deep fantastic flavour. Or try a Thai meal from Pin Petch from their award-winning head chef.”

Other MKFLA finalists that you’ll find on MK Eats include A Pizza This, Calcutta Brasserie, Fratelli’s, Ganges Lounge, Kafila Indian, KuKu Coffee House, Maaya Indian Kitchen & Lounge, Ottoman Kitchen, Percys BBQ, TastyMK, Urban Dhaba, Walton’s More Kebabs and Wrap it and Run.

MK Eats is available to download for iOS and Android here. You can also order on their website mk-eats.co.uk.
