Gulliver's Land to give guests a royal welcome for Platinum Jubilee in Milton Keynes

Guests are set for a royal welcome at Gulliver's Land with the Milton Keynes theme park resort hosting some supersized celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee.

To celebrate the event, which marks Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne, Gulliver's Land is providing a host of fun-filled family adventures with a royal twist.

From Saturday, May 14 to Sunday, June 5, there will be even more thrills than usual at Gulliver's, including street parties, best of British stage shows, the arrival of Lampo and Milady from 44 Cats and majestic entertainment hosted by Gulliver's own Queen Bee.

The celebrations launch on the weekend of May 14 and 15, when Gulliver's Land will be open for an extra hour, until 6pm. As the evenings get longer, families will be able to enjoy the rides and attractions for a bonus hour.

The following weekend Gulliver's and guests will Bee Kind. Coinciding with World Bee Day on May 20, the weekend will have a real buzz with some brilliant bee-themed adventures. From every ticket sold, £1 will be donated to bee conservation projects across the UK.

Finally, from May 27 until June 5, Gulliver's Land will host Jubilee Celebration Week. As well as the thrilling rides and attractions, there will be best of British-style street parties, special shows and royal activities to make the most of the four-day bank holiday weekend beginning Thursday, June 2.

And from 28 May right until 4 September, the 44 Cats are arriving! Lampo and Milady come to Gulliver’s Land to help kickstart Gulliver’s Giant Jubilee with daily appearances of Cat-tastic fun and Pawesome adventures.

Sue Conway, resort manager at Gulliver’s Land, said: "We can't wait to roll out the red carpet for our guests and celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in style.

"From street parties to bee-themed activities, we've got an exciting programme planned for the whole family to enjoy including the arrival of Lampo and Milady from 44 Cats. We know our guests will be as excited as we are to join in all the fun!"
