All the changes planned to Sky channels in the next few weeks - including one launching on Freeview

Satellite TV provider Sky have announced a number of changes to their channels set to happen from next month.

The biggest change will be that Sky Arts will start broadcasting across the UK on Freeview and Freesat.

It means you will no longer need a Sky TV subscription in order to watch the huge range of arts programming on the channel - and the company says it will be "putting artists, creatives, and public participation centre stage".

But you will still need a Sky or Now TV subscription if you want to watch on-demand content from the channel.

If you have Freeview, the channel will appear on channel 11 from next month. On Freesat, it will appear on channel 147.

You may need to re-tune your Freeview box or TV to find the channel. And the change means that Pick will shuffle up to channel 34.

For Sky customers, there will also be a brand new channel called Sky Replay which will appear on channel 145.

Sky Replay will replace Sky Two and replay a range of programmes first shown on Sky Witness and Sky One.

The new channel means that Sky Sports Mix will shuffle up to position 416 on the Sky guide from Thursday this week.
