Afrobeats star SIMI answers questions for Milton Keynes fans

One of Nigeria’s biggest stars Simi answers questions for Milton Keynes fans leading up to her show on November the 11th 2022.

Simi started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2006 titled Ogaju.

Her career came into the spotlight in 2014 after she released “Tiff”, a song that was nominated in two categories at The Headies 2015.

Simi’s genre of music is Afro-pop, although she also dabbles in pop and soul. The Studio Brat headliner, Simisola Kosoko, highly identified by her stage name Simi has recently unlocked her much anticipated studio project called "To Be Honest".

TBH (To Be Honest) is the fourth studio album by the Nigerian singer, Simi. The body of work TBH (To Be Honest) houses 11 stable tracks and features collaborations with the likes of Fave, Deja, and naturally her husband, Adekunle Gold.

Her achievement on this studio project led to her selection as Spotify EQUAL Africa music programme ambassador for July. She became the second African artiste after Tiwa Savage to be named as an EQUAL global and EQUAL Africa artiste.

Simi’s concert in Milton Keynes is part of the TBH UK tour and attendees will be treated to the soulful, beautiful, and calming voice that is uniquely Simi’s.

“You can expect rich, live music. I’ll be playing with my band, the Banjos. They’re awesome.” - Simi
