    Shenley Leisure Centre was opened in September 1991 and is sited alongside Denbigh School by the Shenley Church End Local Centre in Milton Keynes.

    The centre prides itself in the quality and diversity of their programme, which includes Sports, Health & Fitness, Children’s Activities, Entertainment, Dance, Martial Arts, and Community activities for all ages.

    In addition to the Leisure facilities, The Sportsmen’s Rest Bar & Café is open 7 days a week and is a great place to sit with friends and relax after a game or a fitness workout.

    Shenley Leisure Centre is currently hiring for the following roles:

    • Sales & Marketing Administrator

    As a Sales & Marketing administrator you will primarily share our passion for excellent customer service and assist with the development of the Centre with innovative ideas, sales skills and by taking ownership of the role.

    You will be a highly motivated, driven and focused person. You will possess excellent business acumen and be experienced in sales and promotion within a business environment. You will have superb communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to think on your feet, a natural talker with a vibrant personality.

    You will also have excellent computer skills and experience especially with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. You will be confident and be very comfortable talking to people at all levels within any organisation. You will need to have excellent telephone manner.

    Hourly Rate: £10 - £12 per hour depending on experience

    Contract Type: Part Time

    Hours: Mon – Fri (09.30-14.30) – 25 Hours per week

    • Centre Support Administrator

    As a Centre Support Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the management and sales team, having an eye for the finer detail and excellent organisation skills.

    You will be self-motivated, trustworthy and reliable with the confidence to talk to people at all levels within any organisation. You will need good communication skills both written and verbal and able to communicate information to the team when instructed. Ensure that you meet GDPR guidelines within the workplace. You will have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines with a flexible approach and willingness to learn.

    Hourly Rate: £10 per hour

    Contract Type: Part Time

    Hours: Mon – Fri (09.30-14.30) – 25 Hours per week

    • Duty Manager

    You will primarily share our passion for excellent customer service and be responsible for the smooth running of our Leisure Centre.

    You will have experience of managing a team, be highly organised, comfortable working on your own initiative and able to thrive in a busy multi-tasking environment bringing exceptional communication and organisational skills as you manage and motivate the team.

    You must be flexible as this key position involves working on a rotating shift pattern to include weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

    Salary Range: £19000-£21000 pa
