    Grill Chef

    Middletons Steakhouse & Grill in central Milton Keynes are looking for a Grill Chef to join our team in Milton Keynes that can handle the demand of a high volume, high standard restaurant. If you thrive off busy services and fresh cooking, this job is for you!

    Who are we looking for?

    The main things we look for are -

    • A positive attitude
    • Someone that takes pride in what they serve
    • Ability to work at a fast pace
    • Confident cooking on a grill/steaks for 170+ people in a service.

    Although our menu is 95% fresh, you don’t need to have loads of food knowledge, as every dish is very simple and full company specs/training is provided.

    Progression can happen very fast in Middletons for those that are hungry for it and prove they have what it takes, and in all of our restaurants we have at least one chef that has progressed right up to a management position, even a few of our current head chefs started as section chefs.

    What experience do you need?

    Although we will show you systems to make this easier, experience is essential for our grill chef positions, preferably a minimum of 1 year in a fast-paced environment.

    Salary: up to £15.00 per hour (inclusive of service charge)

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

    Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour

    Expected hours:  Part time 20 – 30 per week

    Sous Chef

    Middleton's Steakhouse has a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef at our Milton Keynes restaurant.

    We have simple core values - serve fresh food, at high standards and have a genuine care for the guest.

    Milton Keynes is a high volume restaurant and you will be leading a kitchen of chefs ensuring the kitchen maintains its high standards and service.

    Leadership of a team is a must, the main part of this role is training chefs and delegating to sous chefs.

    Our menu is very easy to learn with all company specs provided, focusing on fresh, simple food.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for a Sous Chef that can handle the demand of a high volume, high standard restaurant and be committed to deliver results in:

    • Guest satisfaction
    • Staff motivation and training
    • Business controls
    • Leading a 500+ cover service from the pass
    • Consistency in standards

    What experience do you need?

    Due to the nature of the business, experience in managing kitchens delivering this volume is essential. However full company specs/training will be provided.

    Pay Range : An annual package of up to £34,000 per annum inclusive of generous Tronc allowance.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
