We’re looking for a Family Community Support Worker to join our small, caring team here at Emily’s Star
Based in: Milton Keynes & within a 10-mile radius
Hours: Part-time, including Tuesday afternoons, flexible hours on Wednesday’s & Thursdays, and one weekend.
Additional hours during school hours.
Requirements: Driving licence, access to a car & a clear DBS (we’ll arrange one for you)
About the Role:
You’ll provide hands-on support to local families - at home, in hospital, and out in the community.
From attending hospital appointments to running group sessions, organising fun family activities, and lending a compassionate ear - no two days are ever the same!
You’ll also help with our home school and teen groups, bringing creativity and care to everything you do.
About You:
You’ll have experience working with children and young adults with additional needs, and a warm, understanding approach. You’re organised, flexible, and ready to go the extra mile for the families we support.
Some admin and social media skills are a bonus - we’ll provide the tools you need!
