Milton Keynes Dons Women to play all home games at Stadium MK

Milton Keynes Dons are delighted to announce that MK Dons Women will play their football at Stadium MK this season!

Now fully integrated into club operations and led by full-time Head Coach Stephen Healy, MK Dons Women will play all of their home games at Stadium MK this season.

While in previous seasons under MK Dons SET, decisions on venues for Women’s matches were made on a more ad-hoc basis, the club are keen to provide consistency and clarity to both players and supporters on matchdays going forward.

MK Dons Women will therefore benefit from the newly installed Hybrid GrassMax pitch at Stadium MK, the refreshed and upgraded gyms and changing rooms, and the pre-existing world-class facilities at the stadium.

Supporters can also look forward to accessing the brand new Club Red facilities on a Sunday via Gate 1, with the new lounge acting as a hub both pre-match and post-match!

Fans will get a chance to meet Head Coach Stephen Healy and a player for pre-match Q&As, while supporters are also encouraged to stick around after full-time and enjoy socialising with players, staff, family and friends in the Club Red lounge.

We’re delighted to confirm that watching MK Dons Women will remain affordable, with prices for 25/26 as follows:

    Adults - £8

    Over 65/Under 18s - £4

    Under 12s - £1

Tickets for MK Dons Women’s first home game of the season at Stadium MK against QPR Women on Sunday 17th August are available to buy NOW at eticketing.co.uk/mkdons or directly from the Stadium MK Box Office.

On MK Dons Women playing at Stadium MK this season, Chairman Fahad Al Ghanim said:

“This is another proud moment for Milton Keynes Dons Women, as we continue to strive to support Women’s football in MK!

“Upon arriving at the club, it was clear the Women’s team needed significant work, and with this announcement, as well as the appointment of the fantastic Stephen Healy as Head Coach, I’m confident we’ve begun to move in the right direction.

“As a one-city club, playing all our games at the same venue just makes sense. I’m delighted that both senior teams will benefit from the same fantastic facilities, the same brilliant pitch, and the same amazing support of the City of Milton Keynes.

“As with all the developments we’re working so hard on at the club, this is to benefit you, the people of MK! So please, get behind MK Dons Women at Stadium MK and let’s make this a season to remember!”

    CEO Neil Hart said:

“The integration of the Women’s First Team into club operations is off to a great start. Stephen Healy has already had a significant impact, both as a coach and operationally.

“We wanted to make it very clear that the Women’s team have our full support, and what better way to do that than to give them access to the exact same facilities our Men’s team enjoy.

“This is a hugely exciting time for Women’s football, both in MK and in the UK as a whole. We’re so ambitious for the team and what we can offer women and girls in Milton Keynes, whether that be as players, supporters, staff or volunteers. There is so much potential and opportunity surrounding MK Dons Women, and I, for one, am extremely excited to see how it develops over the coming season.

“As I’ve said previously, MK Dons and MK Dons Women have been separate for too long, and this announcement is a significant step-change as we look to further integrate the sides as one club.

“As ever, a special thanks to our Title Partner, Suzuki GB, for their fantastic support of the Women’s First Team, as well as the brilliant EMW Law and Equity Energies. I’d also like to thank Pathlines and Concept Clean for their support of young players with the women’s pathway. We look forward to working with you all over the course of the season!

    Head Coach Stephen Healy said:

“I’m thrilled we’ll be playing our home games at Stadium MK! It’s a fantastic demonstration of support from the club! For our players to have access to the exact same facilities as the Men’s team is really significant, and will give us a great foundation for success this year.

“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead. We’ve been working really hard over the summer, and the final pieces are starting to fall into place. I’d encourage Dons’ supporters and the people of MK to get themselves to Stadium MK on Sunday, 17th August, for our opening game of the season against QPR. We’ll be doing our best to play exciting football that you can all get behind!

    Captain Favour Omenazu said:

“This is such amazing news! All the girls are so excited to be playing at Stadium MK this season! I’m so happy we’ll be playing at such a good venue, and for all of us, the stadium has always felt like home!

While it is the club’s intention to play all MK Dons Women home games at Stadium MK, there will be occasional instances where games may need to be rearranged if there is a clash between Men’s and Women’s fixtures. Any changes in venue will be communicated to supporters in good time via mkdons.com and our social media channels.
