Milton Keynes Breakers travel to Solent for league decider this Saturday

MK Breakers face arguably the biggest game of their short history this Saturday as they make the journey to the south coast to face Team Solent Kestrels in their final regular season game.

Team Solent have the advantage heading into this weekend’s clash as they currently top the table having not lost all season. They also won the return leg 80-87 – meaning the Breakers will need to win by 7 points or more to secure the league title and earn automatic promotion NBL Division 1.

The two sides have by far and away deserved the top two spots in the division playing exciting and entertaining Basketball all year and Saturday’s encounter gives both sides the chance to showcase their abilities on the biggest stage of them all.

If the Breakers are to be successful – they’ll need to keep Isa Brandon quiet. The Solent Shooting Guard has averaged 22.2 points this season – the fourth highest in the division. Jordan Spencer also features highly on that list as he sits 10th on that list with 19.7 points per game. Spencer sits top of NBL Division 2 for assists per game with an impressive 11.8 per game.

MK Sports Bar & Lounge are hosting a watch party for the Breakers fans who are unable to attend. Admission is FREE and Children are welcome.
