Carly could not wait to return to Milton Keynes Theatre last night (21/10) to see the highly-anticipated The Bodyguard The Musical and here is her full review...
The experience
I wont lie, I have seen this musical before, but I couldn't resist going along to Milton Keynes Theatre and watching it all over again. As a massive Whitney fan and a sucker for a good love story The Bodyguard The Musical ticks all the boxes. From the initial shot that had me jumping out of my chair I was captivated by Sidonie Smith playing Rachel Marron, her voice, her outfits and her presence onstage. It was great to see Adam Garcia playing the bodyguard although all I could think was that's Kevin O'Donnell from Coyote Ugly! What a treat to get to see him in Milton Keynes. Massive praise has to go to Rio Chigwedere the 10 year old playing Fletcher the audience were right behind him. Great to see some extra Whitney songs thrown into the musical my all time favourite the 'Greatest Love of All' and 'Million Dollar Bill'.
I spent the whole show dancing in my seat and you can too get your tickets quickly as it's only here until Saturday.
