MKFM Review: Jack & the Beanstalk, Stantonbury Theatre

Our volunteer Rachael could not wait to go to Stantonbury Theatre to see the Jack & the Beanstalk with her children and here is her full review...

    The experience

I really wanted to take my children to a pantomime this year but I was worried that at their ages, 3 and 6, they wouldn’t sit quietly through the whole performance. Because of that I decided to go to a smaller, local performance rather than a bigger theatre and I chose Jack and the Beanstalk at Stantonbury Theatre.

I definitely made the right decision, my children had the best time, and loved joining in with the cast. The audience participation was brilliant and just the right amount to keep them engaged throughout the whole performance. The jokes and innuendos also kept the adults entertained. My children are still talking about it and have asked me to take them back to see it again.

If you get a chance to, I definitely recommend going to watch it but be quick it's only there until Saturday the 27th December!
