Young People's Rememberance Parade Planned

    The Royal British Legion and the community of Coffee Hall are going to be hosting the UK's only Remembrance Day event for young people this Friday.

    This year the event have 15 schools attending with up to 600 students. They are particularly pleased to be welcoming some special guests to this years event including: The Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Sir Henry Aubrey Fletcher, Pete and Bernie Winkleman, The Buckinghamshire County Chairman RBL , David Johnson and TVP Area Commander, Superintendent Gez Chiariello.

    John Wren, RBL co ordinator for the event said "the attendance of such high profile guests demonstrates that this is becoming one of the most important events in the RBL calendar, we are justifiably very proud of this event and it justs get bigger every year,  what touches us the most is the behaviour and respect shown by the young people, it never fails to impress us"

    Nick Scott, Chair of Coffee Hall Residents Association commented "this event is what community is all about, working in partnership with Christ the Vine church and the community, we never fail to be amazed at the attendance from every year group, they are always fantastic ambassadors for their schools and we look forward to seeing them every year".

    Schools meet at Barista Park, Jonathan's 10.15

    Piper leads parade at 10.30

    Wreath laying

    Service begins at 10.45. to include students reading the poem ‘the inquisitive mind of a child’ release of white doves during the last post.
