One donation, double the impact! Support YMCA MK’s festive Big Give Christmas Challenge to help give a young person in Milton Keynes a safe place to call home.
TJ’s story shows the difference YMCA Milton Keynes can make. “Before I came to YMCA MK, I was homeless - a mixture of sofa surfing and on the street. YMCA MK helped me get back on my feet and get back into the community.”
With mental health, finances, and recovery support, TJ and his partner, who met at YMCA MK, are now engaged and living in their own flat with their little girl.
He said: “Life is really good now. It’s due to all the staff and everyone who helped me along the way. Me and my partner came in separately as broken people, and we’ve left together better versions of ourselves. I have a lot of gratitude towards YMCA MK.”
