The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for very strong winds in Milton Keynes this evening.
The warning is active between 10pm tonight and 6am tomorrow morning across the Borough of Milton Keynes.
Winds are set to reach up to 45mph across the city with the heaviest winds expected from around 4am tomorrow morning.
Met Office officials are warning of some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely, including for high-sided vehicles crossing bridges.
They also say that some short term loss of power and other services is possible as well as delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.
Temperatures overnight tonight are set to be no lower than four degrees.
