Gusty winds are to be expected today in Milton Keynes, with some disruption in places.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas today (7/4).
The warning, which was issued at 9:54am this morning, is in place until 6pm.
The Met Office says that people should expect:
- Some delays to road, rail and air transport are likely
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
People are being advised to plan ahead when travelling today.
