'Wrinkles and Smiles' explored in new exhibition coming to Milton Keynes

An intergenerational art exhibition will be hosted in Middleton Hall at centre:mk next month.

'Wrinkles and Smiles' is a collaboration between schools and Age UK Milton Keynes, which organisers say 'aims to bridge the gap between generations through the power of art.'

Cold Harbour Lane Primary, Lord Grey Academy, Brookland Farm Primary, and Caroline Haslett Primary schools have taken part in the project. The pupils have worked closely with Age UK Milton Keynes to create pieces that explore and celebrate the lives, stories, and wisdom of older people in their community.

The show will be available to view between October 6 and October 9.

An awards event – to be held on the final evening – will decide on the winning piece of art, which will be displayed at Milton Keynes Gallery.
