Deirdre Bethune, the Labour councillor for Olney Town Council, was the only entrant in the historical pancake race on Tuesday.
Deirdre has run the same route on Shrove Tuesday every year since 1997, in the race that has been annually since 1445.
She has raised funds for Willen Hospice, which specialises in end-of-life care for adults.
The pancake race is open only to the female residents of Olney who are 18 and over, and resident in the town for at least three months.
