Woburn Safari Park welcomes birth of critically endangered Somali wild ass foal

    Woburn Safari Park is home to a herd of Somali wild ass which can be found in the Road Safari.

    Woburn Safari Park have welcomed the birth of a critically endangered Somali Wild Ass Foul.

    The Somali wild ass is one of the most endangered animals with only a few hundred left in the wild, they are threatened by war, hunting and habitat loss.

    The young male, born on 11th July to mum Tawa, four, and dad Quentin, five, was up on his feet within hours of being born.
