Witness appeal following robbery in MK

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Milton Keynes.

    At around 5pm on Wednesday 12 September, the victim was walking from the rear of the Central Milton Keynes Library over the footbridge leading to Coltsfoot Place in Conniburrow.

    He was approached by two young males and was punched and kicked to the head and body.

    The victim then had his mobile phone stolen and the youths ran off across the bridge towards North 9th and North 10th Street.

    The victim, a 19-year-old man, sustained injuries to his head and face including swelling to his eye and a cut lip. He did not require hospital treatment.

    Investigating officer PC Steve King of the Investigation Hub based at Milton Keynes police station says, “There were a lot of people in the area at the time of this offence and we are trying to identify witnesses who may have seen the offenders or the incident.
