The annual week of fundraising that saw people across the region go blue, raised over £25,000 to support the specialist end of life care provided by Willen Hospice.
Willen Hospice needs to raise £3.6 million every year – which works out at around £7 a minute and Blue Week is just one of the ways supporters can raise funds to help raise vital funds.
Dawn Clark, Fundraising Manager at Willen Hospice said;
“People from across Milton Keynes had lots of fun initiatives for fundraising, from holding big blue bashes, eating blue cookies to volunteering for bucket collections and so much more! We’d like to say a massive thank you to everybody who helped us raise this incredible total to support our care.”
