Willen Hospice urges Milton Keynes residents for charitable donations

Willen Hospice is now accepting items, including good quality pre-loved clothes, handbags and shoes at their Kiln Farm distribution centre.

Willen Hospice is a Milton Keynes based charity that has been operating for over 40 years. They provide specialist care for patients at the end of their life, as well as offering emotional support for families with relatives in hospital with life-limiting illnesses.

They have 170 staff and over 600 volunteers but they simply cannot afford to carry on their work without fundraising and donations from the local community including donations of clothes and accessories to sell in their shops.

On their Facebook page, Willen Hospice Milton Keynes posted: "If you've been saving your donations for us we're delighted that we can start accepting items at our Kiln Farm distribution centre from Tuesday 23 February.

"You can call 01908 578250 from tomorrow to book a drive-through slot for a Covid-safe drop off from 8.30am to 4pm weekdays.

"Simply pop your items into bags and seal them. We welcome good quality pre-loved clothes, handbags and shoes - all the details, including gift aid forms, are on our website."
