Willen Hospice Lights of Love Return

The Hospice’s annual Christmas remembrance service takes place on Saturday 2nd December at The Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton Mill South, at 2.30pm.

This poignant service of fond remembrance is an opportunity for people who have lost someone close, to reflect on and celebrate their loved one’s life. Visitors are invited to mark the occasion of remembrance by making an entry in the Hospice Books of Remembrance. The service will be conducted by the Hospice’s Chaplain Rev Steve Barnes and will include Christmas carols and the Hospice Christmas lights switch on.

The service of quiet contemplation takes place against the backdrop of Christmas stalls and local choirs and MK Brass Band who provide a festive ambience.

Sarah Sweet-Rowley, Events Manager at Willen Hospice, said “Our popular Lights of Love service offers great comfort and support. It’s a time to gather together, reflect and remember loved ones while showing much needed support for Willen Hospice at Christmas-time.”

Advance booking is essential for anyone wishing to attend.
