When and how much snow will hit Milton Keynes tomorrow as Met Office issue weather warning

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice in Milton Keynes tomorrow.

Officials have put the warning in place, which covers a large area of the Midlands and South of England, from midnight tonight until 6pm tomorrow evening.

The say that rain may turn to snow, which along with widespread ice, will lead to the potential for some disruption to travel and utilities.

MeteoGroup forecasters are expecting light snow in our city between 10am and 1pm tomorrow, as temperatures in Milton Keynes are set to be around 1 degree through the morning.

But any snow which does fall in Milton Keynes is predicted to be light in nature.

And it's not certain that it will arrive at all - with forecasters only able to give a 50% chance of snow hitting Milton Keynes at all.

The Met Office are saying that some roads and railways around the UK are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.

There are also warnings that some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are possible, as well as some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
