Police in Milton Keynes have spent the past three nights targeting motorcycle theft and anti-social behaviour in the new city.
Officers from Milton Keynes Local Command Unit (LCU) have collaborated across teams including the Priority Crime Team, Neighbourhood Policing (NP) and the Joint Operations Unit to tackle the theft of, and the anti-social use of, the vehicles on roads, redways, footpaths and public spaces.
Plain clothes officers and uniformed NP officers were supported with specialist off-road motorcycles.
So far, Operation Downshift has resulted in the arrests of four individuals.
One motorcycle has been seized and four bikes have been recovered.
A vehicle linked to drug supply has also been seized and multiple pieces of intelligence have been submitted.
Writing on social media, police said their message to offenders is a clear one – 'We know who you are and we're coming for you.'
