Welcome to Camphill MK's newsletter. They hope that November is treating you well. If you've missed the latest on social media, here's what they've been up to this month.
Our Craft & Food Fair Success!
Well, that's our Handmade Craft & Food Fair done for another year!
We want to thank everyone —stallholders, volunteers, staff, residents, shoppers, and performers —for such a fantastic event.
This year, we raised over £6,000 to support our charity!
We were stunned by the sheer number of people who visited us. We were busy from 10 am until close at 3 pm, and we feel fortunate to be so well supported.
Big thanks to the tombola stall team, manned by members of the Residents' Forum and some lovely volunteers. Fantastic effort from everyone!
If you missed our handmade creations, don't forget that we have an ETSY shop with wonderful one-off designs and makes.
A huge thank you to all the brilliant stallholders who made the day so special!
Thank you all!

Rememberance Wreath Project
For Armistice Day, our creative workshop made wreaths for Milton Keynes City Council to lay at the city's Remembrance services.
For the collaborative project, the wreaths were made using mixed media, including crisp packets, willow, donated yarn, fabric & plastic and ceramics.
We have really enjoyed being part of this project, seeing them on display in various locations around Milton Keynes.

Trustees Week
It was Trustees' Week (3rd – 7th Nov) and we celebrated all our wonderful Trustees.
Trustees' Week is a time for charities like ours to come together to celebrate the achievements of nearly 1 million trustees across the UK.
This year, we celebrated the individual talents, viewpoints, and experiences each trustee brings to their board, the collective decision-making, and how diversity can strengthen a charity. We also highlight the wealth of guidance and support that charities can draw on to survive and thrive.

Fancy a Charity Swim?
We're excited to be again supported by the MK Rotary Swimathon.
Last year, we were so proud of all our swimmers, who swam many lengths and raised £2,452 for us.
On February 21st 2026, we will again swim to raise funds for our charity. Can you join them?
Swimmers will relay swim in teams of six for 55 minutes in a 25-metre pool at Wolverton Swimming Pool. Our assisted swimmers will also swim at Middleton Pool in Newport Pagnell on 8th March.
Why swim for charity?
- It's an annual fun day that has raised over half a million pounds for local charities since 1994
- Each year, between 7 and 9 local charities are identified to benefit from the Swimathon
- 21 February 2026 will be Rotary MK's 31st Swimathon
- It's free to enter and held at Wolverton Pool
- 50+ teams of six swim on a relay basis for 55 minutes in a 25-metre pool
- No special swimming ability is needed
- Children of any age are welcome, but must have parental permission.
- There is also a special event for swimmers needing assistance, which will take place at the Middleton Pool in Newport Pagnell on 8 March.

Ever Wanted to Run the MK Marathon?
We're seeking participants to run the half-marathon or a full marathon.
Do something amazing in 2026 and join the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr James Lancaster, and run for Camphill MK on Monday, 4th May 2026.
Why run? Help raise much-needed funds for our charity.
Running increases your focus on long winter nights, and when the training gets tough, it makes completing the MK Marathon even more rewarding.
We will help you reach your fundraising goals and provide invaluable support and advice in the lead-up to and on your big day.
Make a difference to adults with learning disabilities and autism.
All profits will be donated to support Camphill MK.
Please email us to express an interest at fundraising@camphillmk.co.uk.
