Waste collections across Milton Keynes will continue as normal over bank holiday weekend

Households are being reminded that waste collections will be continuing as normal over the bank holiday weekend.

Milton Keynes Council has confirmed that Serco, the council's waste contractor, will be working their usual shifts.

This means that those who have their collection due on Monday 3rd May, which is a bank holiday, should put out their waste.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: "Please leave out your waste, recycling sacks and blue boxes by 7am on the day of your collection."

Waste should not be placed outside any earlier than 5pm the day before collection or else it is classed as fly-tipping.
